Excerpt
Michael: Settle down, settle down. Listen carefully; I’m only going to say this once. At exactly 24 hundred hours, the entire command is to head to an area just northwest of co-ordinates Alpha one, four, niner and Tango two, five, five. (Angel 1 pulls out a map, and the three angels look at it.)
Angel 2: There must be some mistake.
Angel 3: Gotta’ be. That’s nothing but rolling hills just to the northwest of a wide spot in the road called Bethlehem.
Angel 1: Another training run! (Throws up his hands in disgust.)
Gabriel: Let the man finish.
Michael: (He clears his throat.) There you will engage three shepherds---
Angel 2: Are you kidding me?
Angel 3: Oh man. Shepherds smell funny.
Angel 1: I’m going back to bed. (He turns to walk away.)
Gabriel: TEN HUT!
Michael: Let me finish. Let’s see. Here we are, engage three shepherds and tell them that this day in the city of David a savior is born which is Christ the Lord.
Angel 1: WHOA!
ANGEL 2: REALLY?
Angel 3: It is the invasion. Now we start taking people back to our side.
Michael: You are to tell them that this shall be a sign to them, that they will find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Gabriel: Well, it’s about time. Today we start taking the fight to them.
Angel 1: Tonight we make history.
Angel 2: Tonight we announce that deliverance and redemption are here.
Angel 3: The world has suffered long enough at the hands of Lucifer; now it’s time to let them see the love of God in action.
Angel 2: We’d better get a move on-- it’s just about time.
Michael: Gabriel, you are leading this one. Give ‘em heaven!
